Small prompts, big shifts, and you still do the thinking.

Most people use AI like a vending machine.
Question in, answer out.
The real magic starts when you treat it like a colleague.
One who asks back, aims higher, and helps you see what you missed.
Here are 3 lines I add to my prompts.
🔍 Make it ask before it answers.
Add this to the end of your prompt: “Ask me clarifying questions until you’re 95% confident you can complete the task successfully.”
Fewer guesses, fewer rewrites.
🏆 Borrow an expert’s eyes.
Ask: “What would a top 0.1% person in this field think about this?”
The generic answer suddenly gets sharper edges.
🔄 Flip the frame.
Ask: “Reframe this in a way that changes how I see the problem.”
Sometimes the problem you brought is not the problem you have.
Notice what these 3 have in common.
None of them asks AI to think for you.
All of them ask AI to think with you.
As I wrote in Let AI Work, Keep the Humanity: AI adds to us only on purpose.
Which of the 3 will you try first, and what question will you bring to it?
Hit reply, I’d love to hear. 💛
